We are seeing a lot of about code now. Applications are built on code, data is built on code, and now we are moving towards the concept of Infrastructure-as-Code. The life of the Operations team has changed drastically as time has rolled on, but this wasn’t always by choice. Don’t worry though; this is all coming together nicely. We’ve talked about Jenkins and Chef previously, which looked at the more Ops-centric vision, but it’s time to take a little bit of a detailed look at the workflow to see how this will work for the Ops team as the Dev folks sign off on the release.
